WRESTLING RUMORS: Current NXT Star Seen As Possible Future WrestleMania Main Eventer

That’s some high praise. With so many talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be difficult for someone to stand out. Every so often though, you will see a star who gets your attention no matter what they are doing. This case be the case for both the fans as well as the company itself. That appears to have taken place again, as a new WWE Superstar has gotten the right attention.

Last week on SmackDown, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller attacked Carmelo Hayes following a match. Hayes’ friend Trick Williams made the save and, according to Haus Of Wrestling, a WWE source said the creative team was “blown away” by the reaction Williams received. Some in WWE are said to believe that Williams has future WrestleMania main event potential. Williams is currently scheduled to challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Title this weekend at NXT Vengeance Day.

Opinion: This is where things can get interesting in the future, as Williams has already gotten some attention. What matters now is Williams following through on the whole thing, as giving him the chance is not the same thing as having it work. Williams has certainly gotten off to a good start and now we should be in for a big push, which very well may start at Vengeance Day.
