WRESTLING RUMOR: WWE Has New Plans For Charlotte's Return After Year Long Absence

They have plans for her. There are all kinds of titles under the WWE banner and winning one of them can do a lot of good for a wrestler’s career. It makes a big deal when someone gets to see what happens when they are given the chance to move up to another level. That seems to be something WWE has in the cards for a returning Superstar, but it is nothing we haven’t seen before.

WWE has announced that Charlotte will be making her return to the ring at this weekend’s Royal Rumble. According to WrestleVotes, Charlotte is expected to “fully embrace” her Flair heritage and be presented as a “top girl”, with a title reign being discussed to take place sooner than later. Charlotte has been out of action since December 2023 due to a knee injury.

Opinion: I’m not sure how much of a difference there is with this and how Charlotte has been presented for years but it is nice to see her back no matter what she is doing. What matters the most is getting her back in the ring after so many months away, as you never want to see someone out of action for that long. Charlotte getting a title back is only so interesting, but it appears likely in the near future.
