Not everyone is convinced. The ending of “Wrestlemania XXXIII” saw Undertaker seemingly walk off for good as he took off his gear and left it in the ring. This seemed to be the end of his in-ring career with WWE seemingly going along with the idea. However, one major wrestling voice seems to disagree.

On a recent episode of his “Something to Wrestle With” podcast, Bruce Prichard said that he didn’t buy the idea that Undertaker will never wrestle again. The basic reasoning was you never say never in wrestling, among a few other things. Here are the comments with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com:

“I thought it was apropos and I cried like a b—h. It was a nice ending of a chapter if you ask me, but I don’t think it’s over.” Prichard continued, “eventually, yes, I do [think Undertaker will wrestle again]. I’m saying short of being wheeled down to the ring in a wheelchair, that we’ve not seen the last of The Undertaker in the ring.

“Now, he would argue with me on that and say ‘no, that’s it,’ but you never say ‘never’ in this business and The Undertaker and that character will live on forever and I think he could still go out and have a match. It may not be what it was 25 years ago, but by God, he’ll go out and the people will be behind him just as much as they ever were.”

Opinion: I know Prichard is a major authority on wrestling and his podcast is on fire at the moment but I can’t go with him here. I’ll buy the idea of Undertaker appearing but I really can’t imagine he ever gets in the ring again. The sendoff was too perfect and Undertaker doesn’t strike me as the kind of person who would go back on something that big.

The Undertaker makes perhaps his final WrestleMania entrance: WrestleMania 33 (WWE Network)

Do you agree with Prichard? Would you like Undertaker to get back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
