“Wrestlemania XXXV” Location Officially Announced

And so it’s official. We’re coming up on “Wrestlemania XXXIV” but it’s not too early to look forward to “Wrestlemania XXXV”. It’s not clear what matches will be taking place or who will be the major focus of the show, but we now know where the show will be taking place. This was rumored for a long time and now we know for sure.

It’s been there before.

Mr. McMahon reveals sneak peek at WrestleMania 29 set

In an announcement on WWE.com, “Wrestlemania XXXV” will be taking place in MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on April 7, 2019. This is the second time the stadium has hosted the show after “Wrestlemania XXIX” was held there in 2013. The same weekend will see “Takeover”, “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live” taking place in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Opinion: It wouldn’t be WWE if they didn’t go back to New York every now and then. That’s their home and while they’re certainly a worldwide company, New York is what matters more than anywhere else. It’s a big deal and just being in the biggest city in the country makes the show feel that much more important.
