She earned it. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster and as a result it can be difficult for someone to stand out. A wrestler is going to have to do something special to really get some positive attention and that can be easier said than done. In some cases it takes someone stepping up in the right situation and that is exactly what happened at a rather important show.

On September 8, WWE held its Superstar Spectacle event in India, with Natalya wrestling two matches. The event was scheduled to feature a match between Becky Lynch and Zoey Stark, but Lynch had to be pulled from the show due to an issue with her passport. As a result, according to Fightful Select, WWE considered adding Stark to the scheduled Women’s World Title between Rhea Ripley and Natalya. However, Natalya volunteered to face Stark and Ripley in separate matches. As a result, Natalya has received praise backstage for stepping up in a difficult situation and helping the company when it was needed.

Opinion: Good for her. That is the kind of thing that you see a veteran do from time to time and it is great to have someone step up and help the company when they need it. Superstar Spectacle could be a very important show for WWE and Natalya seemed to understand that and did something about it. A lot of people would not have done that but she made something better, which deserves the praise it is receiving.
