That’s a different kind of appearance. Wrestlers are larger than life personalities by design and that has been the case for a very long time now. What makes them all the more interesting is the fact that eventually the cameras go off and the wrestlers become themselves. That often puts them into more common situations, but this time around even the normal situation had a bit of a twist.
Wrestling legends JJ Dillon, under his real name of Jim Morrison, and Kevin Sullivan appeared on Judge Steve Harvey this week. The two were involved in a case involving $7,500 that Dillon loaned Sullivan to buy a boat. Dillon said to “pay him back whenever”, which Sullivan thought meant he had more time. Harvey mentioned being a wrestling fan and the two discussed some of their careers. Eventually Harvey ordered Sullivan to pay the money, though the court footed the bill as a thank you for the years of entertainment. Sullivan and Dillon agreed to remain friends after the situation was over.
It was quite the ordeal. Check out how things got started:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes me smile as a wrestling fan as you get to see someone you haven’t seen in a long time in a different situation. It was cool to see that a celebrity like Harvey was a fan as it is always nice to see wrestling getting some extra attention. The whole thing wasn’t exactly serious and it was a cool moment for fans who haven’t seen these two in a long time.
What do you think of the situation? What was the best part of both of their careers? Let us know in the comments below.
