That’s a big one. We are coming up on the end of the year and that means there are several big events coming up for WWE. This includes the debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix, which includes a variety of big matches. There are going to be some matches with high stakes, including one for an unofficial honor, though it might be the biggest match on the entire card.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That’s Him? Backstage Speculation On Upcoming WWE Debut
WWE has announced that Roman Reigns will face Solo Sikoa at the Netflix debut of Monday Night Raw in Tribal Combat. The match will be for the unofficial title of Tribal Chief. This week, WWE held a Netflix Kickoff event in Los Angeles when Paul Heyman, Reigns’ adviser, interrupted Sikoa and talked about how the stakes of the match were about who the true leader of the Bloodline would be. Heyman also invoked the names of various other members of the Anoa’i Family, saying the match was not about them but rather Reigns and Sikoa. Neither Sikoa nor the rest of the Bloodline attacked Heyman as he was speaking.
This was big. Check ut the segment, how we got here, and what Tribal Combat means:
Opinion: This should make for a big time match and that is what matters most. At the end of the day, Reigns vs. Sikoa and the Bloodline Civil War has been the biggest story in WWE for a good while now and it makes sense that WWE is wanting to push the match as hard as they can. I’m curious to see how the match goes and where things go from there, which suggests things are going in the right way.
