Mama Mia! Mauro Ranallo has become one of the most popular WWE commentators in a very long time. He has a passion and energy level that almost no one ever has to go with a great ability to call a match. There are very few on his level either in calling a match or the sheer excitement that he brings to a wrestling match. However, there’s more to him than just a great voice.
He’s got the look to go with the talking. Check out this great compilation:
WWE has released a compilation of Ranallo’s best calls and reactions from this past Saturday’s Takeover: Phoenix. Instead of just being able to hear Ranallo here, the video shows his physical reactions as well thanks to a camera placed on the announcers’ table. This isn’t the first time that WWE has done such a thing, as Ranallo’s reactions are rather well known.
Opinion: I know Ranallo might not be everyone’s favorite commentator as he certainly has some detractors, there is no denying that he brings a passion to his job that almost no one else can do. Ranallo’s physical reactions are arguably better than his calls and it’s cool to see them on camera instead of just imagining what’s going on behind the microphone. Hopefully he can keep doing these things for a long time to come.
