With bigger movies come bigger interviews. John Cena is becoming a bigger movie star in Hollywood almost every time one of his new movies comes out. Cena is currently starring in Bumblebee, the latest entry in the Transformers film series. That means a lot of interviews promoting the movie, which means we can get some interesting questions answered.
Cena recently appeared on the Graham Norton Show (a British talk show) to promote the movie. Actor Matthew McConaughey was on the set as well and discussed some of Cena’s wrestling stories with him. During the interview, Cena discussed the Prototype character, the origins of You Can’t See Me, and various older wrestlers, with McConaughey telling stories of his own about getting thrown out of a wrestling show when he was younger.
There’s some good stuff here. Check out this Cena interview, with some awesome stories (and it’s not even that long):
Opinion: I always get a kick out of big time actors being wrestling fans. Wrestling is often viewed as a lower level form of entertainment but having an actor like McConaughey say that it’s cool is nice to see. It’s not likely to change anything, but it’s fun to hear him telling stories about going to wrestling shows and being a fan, even if it might not be true anymore.
