WATCH: Former Champion Makes Surprise Return On AEW Collision

She’s back. There are all kinds of reasons for wrestlers to step away from the ring for a bit and some of them are due to just needing a break. After being in the ring and on the road for a long stretch, there are times when someone might want a little bit of a breather. That can make for some special moments when someone comes back and that was the situation again this weekend.

This weekend’s edition of AEW Collision saw Kris Statlander successfully defend the TBS Title against Robyn Renegade in an open challenge. Following the match, Robyn and her sister Charlette attacked Statlander until Jade Cargill made a surprise return to take out all three women. This was Cargill’s first appearance since Double Or Nothing in May when Statlander defeated Cargill to win the title in Cargill’s first career loss.

Opinion: This is a big addition to the AEW women’s division as Cargill has been one of the most dominant forces in all of the company. I’m not sure if she is going to win the title back, but what matters is that she adds another dimension to the division. You can all but book her rematch with Statlander for the title and then we get to see where things go as a result.
