I’ve heard worse. WWE is a huge company with all kinds of moving parts, but at the end of the day, the wrestlers are what matter most. Without them doing well, the entire promotion will have trouble and that can create a big problem. The wrestlers have to get along with each other and that can be made easier by doing certain things. Now we have an idea of what some of those things are.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Last One In: New Title Match Officially Set For AEW All In
Former WWE Superstar Maven has posted a new video to his YouTube page where he explains the unwritten rules of the WWE locker room. Maven lists off all eight of them and talks about each, while also explaining how he did not exactly follow all of them, with one leading to his departure from WWE. These rules seem to be unofficial and are Maven’s opinion on how the locker room works. Here are all eight:
1. Shake everyone’s hand
2. Be on time
3. Stay until the end of the show
4. Don’t ask, don’t tell, about money
5. Plans are going to change, be able to roll with them
6. Respect your agent (producer)
7. Respect your veterans
8. Get to the ring and learn your craft
It’s an interesting week. Check out the video, plus some of Maven’s time in WWE:
Opinion: Most of these sound completely reasonable, with rules basically saying a different version of “be respectful”. Nothing on here is overly complicated or ridiculous and at the end of the day, if you want to be a star in WWE, you have to play by their rules. It’s kind of interesting to see someone with inside knowledge showing how simple this really is, as that might not have been expected.
