You don’t want the boss mad at you. Last month’s Royal Rumble was one of the biggest and longest shows the WWE has ever produced. Counting the Kickoff Show, the entire thing lasted nearly seven hours, meaning there was a lot to be seen. As usual, Vince McMahon himself was running the show backstage and as it turns out, one match had him rather livid, which is never a good thing.
According to Ringsidenews.com, McMahon was livid over the recent women’s Royal Rumble match due to a variety of reasons. The intervals for the entrances, which were announced as ninety seconds each, were often over two minutes long, due to the participants taking too long to finish their spots. In addition, McMahon was also angry over the camera angles used to shoot the match.
Maybe some of these were the culprits. Check out some Royal Rumble highlights, which are always cool:
Opinion: I can understand the frustration, though it’s not like the match was all that bad. The timing issues have been a problem with the Royal Rumble since the match was introduced as it often just wasn’t the right moment to bring in the next entrant. McMahon is going to be more touchy about some of these things than others as it’s his company though, which is certainly understandable.
