That doesn’t sound great. Wrestling is not in its normal place at the moment and you can see that every time you watch a show. WWE is in an especially strange place as they are running events out of the Performance Center in front of no fans, which leaves a little something to be desired. The fans aren’t the only people missing though, and WWE is hiding one of them in particular.

This year’s WrestleMania was a very different kind of show as there were a lot of people missing. In short, the wrestlers were allowed to miss the show if they were either ill or did not feel safe coming to Orlando, Florida to perform. Some wrestlers took WWE up on this, with one major name missing the show due to health issues. Now, WWE is making us miss him as well.

This week’s Monday Night Raw featured a countdown of the top ten greatest Money in the Bank moments of all time. The #1 spot went to Seth Rollins cashing in Money in the Bank at WrestleMania 31 when he pinned Roman Reigns. However, the clip that aired during Monday Night Raw showed Rollins hitting Brock Lesnar, who was also in the match, with the Stomp and then holding the title. Reigns was not mentioned or shown during the clip. This comes less than a week after Reigns was not shown in a WWE Make-A-Wish video. Reigns missed this year’s WrestleMania due to health concerns.

This is a weird one. Check out what WWE showed this week and then what actually happened:

Opinion: For the life of me, I really hope this is a storyline and not WWE trying to punish Reigns in some way. I know they might not be happy with Reigns at the moment, but about a month ago he was challenging for the Universal Title. That clip was from five years ago and has been heavily played since. Are we just supposed to forget what happened? Maybe it’s a storyline, but otherwise this isn’t painting WWE in a great light.

What do you think of the situation? Is WWE trying to make us forget Reigns for the time? Let us know in the comments below.
