He’s what’s causing all this! A few months ago, a Ric Flair documentary was announced for the ESPN 30 for 30 series. This series of documentaries has been very well received and a wrestling entry could be very well made. Flair is a fascinating subject and it would do a lot of good to have him around.
According to a press release courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com, the film will premiere on November 7 at 10pm EST. The documentary will cover Flair’s life and career while featuring interviews with various wrestlers, including Sting, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan and others. A trailer has also been released for the film:
Opinion: Flair is one of the best possible choices for something like this as it could be nothing more than an hour and a half of him telling stories. He’s been everywhere and wrestled everyone so letting him tell his story in a very proper format could be fascinating. It should be interesting to see what they do regarding some of his personal issues as they could take the film in a very different direction.
