Ouch. Wrestlers can suffer all kinds of injuries in and out of the ring, some of which can take quite a long time to heal. You never want to see someone put on the injured list and therefore keep them out of the ring, as it leads to the question of how long they will be out. Now we are seeing that question again with a wrestler, but in this case it has nothing to do with wrestling.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: VIDEO: Ricochet Possibly Written Off WWE TV On Monday Night Raw In Violent Attack
The Rock has released a new video to Instagram, showing that he has suffered an elbow injury during the filming of his new movie “The Smashing Machine”. His elbow has a growth underneath the skin, which he says looks like a cantaloupe. Rock said that he will have to get the fluid drained out of his elbow before he can undergo an MRI. There is no word on how long this could delay the filming of the movie, which is scheduled to wrap on August 1. It is not clear when the Rock will be able to return to WWE.
Rock had a lot going on in WWE. Check out his most recent run:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that happens every so often and you do not want to see it take place. Hopefully Rock is able to get back to filming sooner than later as that is a rather nasty looking injury. At the end of the day, it is unlikely that the Rock is going to be back in the ring for Summerslam on August 3 and this is only going to make the delay go on a little bit longer.
