Video: SmackDown’s Most Extreme Moments

Violence can be blue. Nineteen years is a long time, especially when you have two hours of television a week. That’s the case with SmackDown Live, which is celebrating its 1000th episode this coming Tuesday. Those years would include a long list of people doing rather violent things, which is where a lot of people thrive. That’s the kind of list that is worthy of another look and that’s what WWE is doing.

ECW would be proud.

WWE has posted a new Top Ten video looking at SmackDown’s Most Extreme Moments from over the years. Most of these are big spots that involve someone being throw off of something or dropped onto something else, though there are a few instances that differ. The list ranges over the course of the show, with one entry be from the first year of the show and another from earlier this year.

Opinion: While the number one spot was about as obvious as you could get if you’ve been watching SmackDown Live over the years, they managed to cover a lot of the show’s history with the list. Monday Night Raw gets a lot more attention than SmackDown Live but there’s a lot to cover on the blue show. I’m glad the show has gotten this kind of attention for such a special episode and it’s well deserved.
