Records are made to be broken. There’s a lot of wrestling to be watched over the course of a year and that means there’s a lot going on at the same time. Sometimes something happens that has never taken place before and that means it’s time to bust out the record book and see what’s new.

WWE has released a list of six records that were broken over the course of 2017. Some of these might not be the biggest records in the world but some of them took several years to come together. Some took place on pay per view and some of them took place over the course of time in general. There are some very big names involved here and a lot of them cross generations. Here’s the list:

6 stunning records that were broken in 2017: WWE List This!

Opinion: These are the kinds of things that fascinate me as a wrestling fan. You might hear about some of these things throughout the year but it’s always cool to consolidate everything together into one list like this. These six records might not be the biggest deals in the world but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth mentioning at the end of the year.

Which of these records is the most impressive? Which records do you think will fall next year? Let us know in the comments below.
