Video: Shawn Michaels in New Movie

It’s worked for Rock so why not Michaels? Shawn Michaels is one of the best in-ring performers of all time though he’s only somewhat good on the microphone. While he found a style that worked quite well for him, Michaels is rarely considered one of the best talkers ever. That made it something of a surprise when he started taking acting roles, though he’s landed another one.

WWE has released a clip of Michaels acting in their new movie “Pure Country: Pure Heart” via their YouTube channel. The short clip shows Michaels at a gathering of some sort (it seems to be a party or a bar), talking to the main characters. The film is available on DVD today at Wal-Mart.

Opinion: I’m not sure how well Michaels is going to do in acting but at least he’s finding something to do with his time after retirement. He’s already a trainer down at the Performance Center and if he enjoys these small acting roles on the side, let him have some fun with them.
