I’d call it a dream match. The WWE Women’s Revolution has changed the way women’s wrestling works in a very good way. After so many years of having nothing to do, women were suddenly involved in long matches which were being treated as big deals. That was unthinkable not too long before but it has since become a reality. Now someone is planting the seeds for another huge match.
Sasha Banks appeared on this week’s edition of the Bump and called out WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. The two faced off in the 2018 Royal Rumble, with Stratus mocking Belair’s signature dance before Banks eliminated her. While Stratus has announced her retirement from wrestling, she has said that she and Banks have unfinished business. There is currently no word on Stratus returning for a potential match.
This could be quite the showdown. Check out the challenge, their faceoff in the Royal Rumble plus some of their bests:
Opinion: This is one of those matches that does sound great on paper and the good thing is that you could actually see it taking place. Stratus has shown that she can still get back in the ring and do just fine in the ring so why can’t she do it again with Banks? If nothing else, there is something cool about seeing Banks face someone who probably inspired her to get in the ring in the first place.
Would you want to see the match? How would you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
