Absolutely. Last week, two new women’s trios debuted on the main roster. Comprised of the returning Paige and five new callups from NXT, the new groups looked to changed the way “Monday Night Raw” and “Smackdown Live” ran their women’s divisions. Earlier this week we found out that the red version was called Absolution and now we know some more about their blue counterparts.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, Ruby Riott (now with a second t), officially named the team the Riott Squad. The team said that they are around to turn the “Smackdown Live” women’s division upside down and not here to audition for “Total Divas”. Riott introduced Sarah Logan as the grittiest southern belle around and Liv Morgan as the team’s firecracker. Here’s the name being announced.

The Riott Squad introduce themselves: SmackDown LIVE, Nov. 28, 2017

Opinion: Well….it’s better than Absolution. I’m really not sure why A, the group needed a name and B, why the second T to Riot’s name. Either way, they already seem a little better than their “Monday Night Raw” counterparts, even if the two of them seem like the exact same idea spread out over two different weeks. It’s not the worst name in the world at least and that’s an improvement.

What do you think of the team’s name? Who will be the top star of the three? Let us know in the comments below.
