Down goes another one. To say the WWE tag team division isn’t the deepest in the world is an understatement. There’s only a handful of teams who have any kind of longevity and those teams are split between two brands. Now that list is down by one more number after this week’s television.

This week on “Smackdown Live”, the Hype Bros lost to the Bludgeon Brothers for the second week in a row, this time in less than a minute. After the match, Rawley turned on Ryder during an interview, beating him down and screaming that the Hype Bros are dead. The team had been together since June 2015 when they formed back in NXT, though there was a several month stretch of inactivity while Ryder healed from a knee injury.

Here’s the match and subsequent breakup.

The Hype Bros vs. The Bludgeon Brothers: SmackDown LIVE, Nov. 28, 2017

Opinion: Well it’s not like they were doing anything. The Hype Bros haven’t meant anything in a very long time and having them lose matches like this isn’t going to do them any good. Rawley turning heel could mean something for him, but my goodness it’s not like the division has the depth to be getting rid of teams like this.

Will Rawley do well on his own? Should the team have been split up? Let us know in the comments below.
