I’d SAY YEAH to that. To say that the Revival hasn’t panned out on the main roster would be an understatement. Between a rash of injuries and just not being suited for the short TV matches that WWE presents, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder just aren’t working so far. They were incredible in NXT where they were allowed to have the long form matches that they do so well but that’s no longer the case. Therefore, a quick homecoming probably sounded rather nice.
Dig that surprise factor.
Check out how the Revival did in our full Monday Night Raw results from this week.
Opinion: That’s what’s so fun about NXT: they know how to give you a good time. I have no idea why main roster acts aren’t sent down to NXT more often, either on a one off or even longer term basis. There are some talents that just need a change of scenery and going down there to face fresh opponents. If nothing else they might be able to figure out a change to their character (if not a brand new one) that could work better on the main roster.
