One more for the pile. The cruiserweight division has been turned upside down as of late with Enzo Amore becoming the new Cruiserweight Champion. After the end of last week’s “Monday Night Raw”, Amore has no challengers as everyone who attacked him fell victim to a No Contact Clause, stripping them of any potential title shots while Amore is champion. That problem was solved this week.

On this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, General Manager Kurt Angle introduced Kalisto as the newest member of the cruiserweight division. He attacked Amore to end the show, leaving him laying to the delight of the rest of the cruiserweights. No title match has been announced so far.

Here’s how Kalisto debuted:

Kalisto joins the Cruiserweight division: Raw, Oct. 2, 2017

Opinion: Kalisto works as well as anyone else, even though there’s almost no way that he’s ending Amore’s title reign anytime soon. Odds are Amore is going to get through a few challengers by the skin of his teeth before someone finally defeats him to save the division. That could be a long time from now though and Kalisto is a fine choice for a first challenger.

Has Amore helped the division? Who will take the title from him? Let us know in the comments below.
