I hope he brought the Kiss Cam. The main event of “Battleground 2017” was a Punjabi Prison match between Smackdown World Champion Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton. The match went on quite a while and Orton seemed to have the match won until a certain music started to play.
The Great Khali made his return at the pay per view, marking his first appearance with the company since 2014. Great Khali cost Orton the title by choking him through the prison wall, allowing Mahal to climb out to the floor and retain the title. There is no word on if Great Khali is going to be sticking around or if this is just a short term appearance. Here’s the appearance:

Opinion: This wasn’t the biggest surprise in the world but that doesn’t mean it’s the best possible idea. I’d assume Great Khali, now forty four years old, will wrestle a match as a result of all this and I’m not sure how well that’s going to go. If nothing else it kept the title on Jinder Mahal, which doesn’t exactly thrill a lot of fans.
