He has a future. There have been a lot of moves and changes made to the WWE roster this year and some of them were more confusing than others. Some of the names made for some very odd releases and some of them had fans wondering where the wrestlers were going to go next. Most of the wrestlers have found new homes, and now another can be added to the list.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Buddy Matthews, formerly known as Buddy Murphy during his time in WWE, will be making his debut for the promotion in November. Matthews has been confirmed for the Battle In The Valley event on November 13 in San Jose, California. No opponent has been announced. Since leaving WWE in June, Matthews has appeared at a few independent events.

This could be good. Check out the announcement and the what Matthews did in WWE:

Murphy vs. Seth Rollins: SmackDown, Nov. 20, 2020

FULL MATCH - Aleister Black vs. Murphy: WWE TLC 2019

Opinion: This is the kind of announcement that gets my attention as you have a talented guy getting to show what he can do. Matthews is someone who could have been a bigger deal in WWE and just never really got the chance. That can make for a very exciting moment and that is what we could be in for again here. New Japan might be a very good fit for Matthews and now he is going to get another chance.
