He’s a little fired up. One of the more controversial decisions that the WWE has made in the modern era is switching over to a PG presentation. A lot of people were displeased with the move but it has proven rather financially lucrative for WWE. More people are going to be comfortable watching the product and things have gone well. That does not mean some things won’t slip through every now and then and that was the case this week.
During this week’s Monday Night Raw, the main event of WrestleMania 37 was announced as Drew McIntyre will challenge WWE Champion Bobby Lashley for the title. Lashley attacked McIntyre at Elimination Chamber, allowing the Miz to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase and win the title. Therefore, McIntyre is not pleased with Lashley and things have gotten personal. That was on display after the show.
Thank goodness for censors. Check out what almost made the air on Raw Talk:
During this week’s edition of Raw Talk, McIntyre was speaking about Sheamus turning on him earlier in the year. McIntyre accidentally dropped an F bomb, not being able to catch himself before he said the word. He immediately apologized and host R-Truth began talking about something else. McIntyre also asked for the line to be censored before continuing to talk about Sheamus, saying he was very emotional about everything.
Opinion: This isn’t going to mean anything in the end as McIntyre said something that was censored on a wrap up show on the Network. It isn’t something that happens all the time and it is a nice way to add some emotion to the match with Sheamus. Thankfully McIntyre and R-Truth were fast enough to catch what happened before it got awkward, which is not the easiest thing to do.
