That’s my kind of carnage. Back at “No Mercy 2017”, Brock Lesnar successfully defended the Universal Title against Braun Strowman. While Lesnar hasn’t made a televised appearance since then, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been around the WWE at all, including a house show match over the weekend.
On Saturday September 30, Lesnar defended the Universal Title against Sheamus at a show in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. WWE has released a few clips of the match, which included a post match beatdown of Sheamus’ partner Cesaro. The match isn’t shown in full, but Sheamus seemed to get in some offense instead of being destroyed. Here are some clips.

Opinion: There’s nothing wrong with something like this, especially when the show isn’t far from Lesnar’s of Minnesota. It even looked like a decent match as Sheamus is one of the guys that can conceivably go toe to toe with Lesnar in a power match. It’s good that it wasn’t a squash, though it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world at a house show.
Who do you want to see challenge Lesnar next? Who should take the title from him? Let us know in the comments below.
