Video: Booker T. Beats Up Houston Rockets Mascot

Well at least he didn’t throw in the Spinarooni. Booker T. is one of the most polished in-ring talents in wrestling history. He can wrestle one of the smoothest matches you’ll ever see and can hang with almost anyone. At the same time though, he’s also able to look like one of the most intimidating people you’ll ever see. He’s big, muscular and can throw in one heck of a sneer. That can create problems for wrestlers….and various NBA mascots.

Booker T. recently appeared at a Houston Rockets preseason game and took part in the halftime entertainment. During the event, Booker slammed the Houston Rockets mascot Clutch through a table as Booker’s music played. A short video has been posted to Booker’s Instagram page, showing the mascot going through the table.

Opinion: Can someone explain to me why this is supposed to make fans cheer Booker? Do the fans not like Clutch for some reason? This was perfectly fine for what it was: a Houston native making an appearance in the city and doing something fun. If he wants to be mayor of Houston, this is something that could help him (in a rather limited capacity).
