It didn’t work. There are all kinds of stories that take place in wrestling and some of them are rather interesting for one reason or another. Some of them can take quite the twist in one direction or another and the question becomes what will be taking place next. However, there are other times where real life issues take place, which appears to be the case again at the moment.

Last week, Corey Graves made a surprise return to the NXT commentary team. Following his appearance, Graves took to Twitter and complained about being moved to the show. He did not appear on this week’s broadcast. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Graves was legitimately unhappy about the move. Graves had reportedly been set to call SmackDown with Joe Tessitore but Wade Barrett received the spot instead. There are some who believe Graves may have been trying to turn the situation into a storyline but it is believed to have begun as a real issue. There is no word on when or if Graves will return to TV.
This could be bad. Check out Graves in WWE:
Opinion: This is one of the more interesting situations in wrestling, as I’m not sure where things stop being real and start being a storyline. It would seem pretty clear that Graves is at leas somewhat unhappy and that shouldn’t be a surprise. Why wouldn’t Graves be upset at being turned into the third man on the lowest show when he was going to be the second man on the secondary show? It’s a demotion when he hasn’t done anything wrong and that is never going to end well. Hopefully Graves is back, as he is too talented to be gone.
