Update On Jungle Boy’s Injury Status

That could be worse. There is very little in wrestling harder to watch than someone getting hurt. You don’t know what is going on at the moment and there are a lot of questions that come with it. One of the biggest is what is wrong, which leads to the question of how long before someone can get back in the ring. Now we might know a bit more about one of those questions.

Earlier this week, news broke that AEW’s Jungle Boy was suffering from a legitimate injury and would be missing some time. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the injury was confirmed to be a shoulder injury, though there is still no word on when or how the injury took place. It is suspected but not confirmed that it took place in the ladder match on the June 15 Dynamite.

Opinion: This could be worse as a shoulder injury is a nasty thing to endure but at least it is something that isn’t related to his head. Jungle Boy is one of the better stars in AEW today and it would be a shame to see him miss that much time. If nothing else, the injury can be blamed on Christian Cage’s attack after the match and you have a story ready. Go with that as soon as possible, but make sure that Jungle Boy is fixed up first.
