Twice as nice. WWE presents a variety of television very single week, often from different locations around the country, if not the world. It can be a very fun night for the fans to get to go and see a television event in person, but now things are appearing to change in a big way. In this case though, it is going to result in some fans having quite a bit of wrestling to watch in person.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE will begin running a double television taping once a month going forward. This will mean that there will be two episodes of either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown taped in a single night. At least some of these changes will be due to the company taking part in international tours. There is no word on if this will continue when Monday Night Raw moves to Netflix and the show is no longer required to only last two hours.

That’s a lot of TV. Check out the recent WWE broadcasts:

Opinion: I’d be curious to see how long this lasts, as asking fans to sit through two shows that are over two hours long each sounds like a lot. Just watching four hours in a row is a lot, but maybe WWE has something in mind for it. This is another of those changes that WWE has been making in recent months and I’m not sure how well this one is going to go, just due to how much it is asking of some fans.
