Two Sport: WWE's Baron Corbin Wins Title In Entirely Different Sport

He can do more. There are all kinds of incredible athletes in WWE and some of them have had quite a bit of success in other sports. It can make the results all the more impressive when a WWE Superstar has success outside of the ring, especially if they do not have the most experience. That was the case again over the weekend as a WWE star showed what he could do elsewhere.

WWE’s Baron Corbin, competing under his real name of Thomas Pestock, won a gold medal at the Jiu Jitsu World League III Finals event in Orlando, Florida on December 2. Corbin, competing in the Master 1 division, won first place in his competition. It is not clear how many other competitors took part in the tournament. Corbin is scheduled to challenge Ilja Dragunov for the NXT Title at NXT Deadline on December 9.

Opinion: This is one of those things that is rather impressive when you think about it. I’m not sure how many people were in the competition, but at the end of the day, Corbin was the only one who won the whole thing. That is impressive enough and good for him for making it work. While he might be better in wrestling, he is certainly doing something well here in an entirely different sport.
