Excuse me playa, but let me holla holla at you. Back in 1999, SmackDown debuted as the second big show of the week for WWE. The show has been on the air for nineteen years now and has taken on a life of its own. That means a long history with a variety of people who have helped shaped SmackDown over the years. Thankfully that means we’re going to be seeing some of them in the future.
According to PWInsider Elite by way of 411mania.com, local advertisements for SmackDown Live 1000 on October 16 include both Teddy Long and Vickie Guerrero appearing on the show. The two were both part of the show for several years and both served as General Manager at various times. Long was even named the greatest General Manager in the show’s history.
And there’s a history there too.
Opinion: I know these two might not be the biggest names in the world, but they’re still important people in the history of SmackDown Live. The show is designed to be a celebration of the show’s history and these two were part of the show for a very long time. Long was around for the better part of ever and Guerrero was a top villain for several years. It’s good that these two are around because it wouldn’t have been right to not have them there.
Are you glad the two of them will be there? Who else should be on the show? Let us know in the comments below.
