They’re on the way. We are on the way to the Royal Rumble but there is another major show on the way there. There were two matches announced for this month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event during this week’s Monday Night Raw. First up, Gunther will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso, who challenged him for a title match. Second, Sheamus defeated Ludwig Kaiser for an Intercontinental Title shot against Bron Breakker. Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to take place in San Antonio, Texas on January 25.

Opinion: This is the kind of night that you need to help set up something for a show in less than two weeks. Saturday Night’s Main Event being held again so soon after a previous edition might be a stretch but in this case they are at least going with some big matches to get it going. The two matches they have so far should be a good start and now we are going to get to see what else WWE has.
