Two More Added to Royal Rumble, Updated List of Entrants

We’re almost there. With less than six days to go before the 2017 Royal Rumble, the field is almost complete. Coming into today we had seventeen out of thirty names announced. Since the entire field is never announced in advance, it was clear that a few more names would be announced. It turned out to be faster than expected as the list has grown to twenty one names.

After Big Show and Sami Zayn (who is replacing Seth Rollins) were announced today, Big Cass and Rusev threw their names into the field as well on “Monday Night Raw”. Both interrupted New Day (already entered) and quickly announced their entrances into Sunday’s battle royal.

Here’s the updated list of participants:

That’s quite the list and thankfully they’ve left a few names for surprises. You can probably assume two or three more names being added to the match this week on “Smackdown Live” but a big part of the Rumble’s fun is the surprise factor and that’s where the remaining nine spots can come into play. The list is very good so far and there really isn’t a full on favorite.
