A boxer, a wrestler and a mixed martial artist walk into a bar. In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last month or so (or you’re not a fan of more mainstream sports), Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor are gearing up for one of the biggest sporting events of all time in just over a month. As you might expect, WWE has found a way to get involved.
Starting this week, Mayweather and McGregor are going on a four city tour to promote their fight. Since these will be some of the biggest sports news events of the year, they’re almost guaranteed to draw in big audiences. Triple H has weighed in on the issue, offering both of them a chance to show up on “Monday Night Raw”.

Opinion: While I can’t imagine either of them to show up, this tweet took all of ten seconds to write up so it’s not like it hurts anything. Mayweather has appeared on WWE programming before and is always one for some publicity so this is hardly the most out there idea in the world. It seems to be in good fun so if it goes somewhere for WWE (which it won’t), there’s no real downside.
