He did it again! Titles are often the most important things in any wrestling promotion as they offer a variety of options. First and foremost, they let fans know which wrestlers should get the most attention, as champions are often the focal point of any promotion. A title change can boost up any wrestler’s career as a result and that might be the case again this week.

Wardlow won the TNT Title from Powerhouse Hobbs this week on AEW Dynamite, tying Cody Rhodes and Sammy Guevara’s record for the most reigns at three. The win came with Wardlow debuting Arn Anderson as his new manager. Wardlow had previously lost the title to Hobbs, who has received help from QT Marshall. The win ends Hobbs’ first reign with the title at 42 days.

Opinion: The rapid fire changes of the TNT Title continue and it is interesting to see what AEW is doing with the championship at the moment. Wardlow getting the title back is a surprise as he has been one of the biggest stars in AEW for a long time now. At the end of the day, this isn’t going to help Hobbs very much, but at least they are doing something bigger with Wardlow, who needs the win back.
