Woo! With less than a week to go before “Survivor Series 2017”, it’s time to completely finalize everything on the show. There are so many moving parts on the card that it’s hard to keep track of everyone in every match. One of those spots changed for sure tonight though and it could mean another change as well.
This week on “Smackdown Live”, Charlotte defeated Natalya to become the new Smackdown Women’s Champion. That win moves Charlotte into the champion vs. champion match against Alexa Bliss. However, it also removes her from the women’s Survivor Series match. It was made clear that, at least at the moment, Natalya is NOT replacing Charlotte on the team.
Here’s what Charlotte had to say before the title match.
Charlotte Flair dedicates tonight's SmackDown Women's Title Match to Ric Flair: Exclusive, Nov. 14
Opinion: If that mystery partner doesn’t wind up being a certain returning British woman with long black hair, I’ll be rather surprised. That would seem to be the perfect solution all around as Natalya isn’t that interesting and while Paige isn’t great, she’s a better choice than Natalya, at least in the short term.
