Time off. It can be easy for a wrestler to fall through the cracks these days, as there is so much talent out there at any given time. You never know when you are going to see someone for the last time before they go away for a bit, though sometimes it is more telegraphed than others. That seems to have been the case recently, as a wrestler was attacked and is now going away for a while.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Special Night: AEW Set To Go Head To Head With NXT Again

This week on Monday Night Raw, Solo Sikoa attacked Matt Riddle, resulting in Riddle being taken out of the arena on a stretcher. Now, according to PWInsider.com, Riddle has been pulled from upcoming WWE live events. There is no word on why Riddle is missing ring time, though there is nothing to suggest that he has suffered a legitimate injury. Riddle wrestled this week on Monday Night Raw, teaming with Kevin Owens in a loss to the Usos.

Riddle will be fine when he gets back. Check him out before he left:

Opinion: WWE kind of has to pull Riddle off upcoming live events after that kind of a beatdown on television. There are only so many ways to get around such a beating without coming off as fake or making Sikoa’s beatdown feel weak. Let Riddle go away for the time being and the come back for some revenge in the future. Riddle is already a star and now he has something to do when he is back.

What do you think of Riddle? What should he do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
