The big time. We are in a new year and that means it is time to start doing new things in WWE. That can include all kinds of new concepts, or perhaps doing something in a different way. WWE has a lot of options open to it and some of those can be rather interesting. One such change has already been announced and now we know a good bit more about how the plan came into being.

Last week, WWE announced that it would be holding its annual Money In The Bank event this year at the 02 Arena in London, England, marking the first time the event has been held outside of North America. According to Fightful Select, WWE could have held the show in a stadium and sold it out, but they felt that the 02 is the “Madison Square Garden of England” and wanted to run the venue. In addition, running Money In The Bank in England makes the event feel like one of the biggest of the year.

Opinion: I get the thinking here as running the event in London does make it feel that much more important. Money In The Bank has become one of the bigger events on WWE’s calendar and it is great to see the show getting that much more important over the years. It would be cool to see something different in London for the show, and we are far enough away from the event for WWE to come up with a new idea.

What do you think of the idea? How do you see the show going? Let us know in the comments below.
