That could be big. We are coming up on the end of the year, which means that WWE is getting ready to start something new. This includes getting ready for the debut of Monday Night Raw on Netflix. The first episode of the show will air on the platform on January 6, 2025, which already has two major matches set. Now we might be ready to see another, but there is another place it could go.

Over the weekend, Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens in the main event of WWE Saturday Saturday Night’s Main Event. Following the match, Owens attacked Rhodes with a package piledriver, resulting in Rhodes being taken from the arena in an ambulance. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is planning on another Rhodes vs. Owens match, likely “sooner than later”. Opinion: I don’t think this is the biggest surprise as there is no way to present that kind of a post match angle without having a major rematch planned. In this case we are likely going to be seeing the match at some point in the next month to month and a half, which should give Rhodes time to make a big fired up return after being off due to the attack. That should make for a good story and I’m curious to see how it goes.
