In recent weeks, reports have surfaced saying that Ricochet will be leaving WWE when his current contract expires. Last week on Monday Night Raw, Ricochet was attacked by Bron Breakker, resulting in WWE announcing that Ricochet will be out of action for an extended period of time. According to PWInsider.com by way of Wrestlingnews.co, Ricochet will not be returning to WWE TV and is effectively done with the promotion. This news comes amid rumors that Ricochet could return for one more appearance to capitalize on the hype around his status.

Ricochet is quite the star. Check out what he has done recently:

Opinion: This makes sense, as the segment with the Breakker sending Ricochet through the windshield of the car was about as perfect as it could have gone. There is no reason to bring him back to take away from that impact, as it made Breakker look like an absolute killer. For now, we’re done with Ricochet in WWE and they couldn’t have come up with a much better way to get rid of him.
