He’s done. There are all kinds of talented people throughout WWE but at some point, all of them are going to leave for one reason or another. This can take place in a variety of ways but one of the most common is someone leaving when their contract expires. That seems to be the case again, with the star in question making his future intentions clear at a different location.

WWE’s MVP appeared at this weekend’s Bloodsport XI event and confirmed that he would be leaving WWE when his contract expired. MVP went on to challenge Josh Barnett to a future fight at a Bloodsport event, with Barnett accepting but not naming a date. MVP, 50, has been out of action for over two years due to a knee injury. He recently revealed he was undergoing stem cell therapy in an attempt to return to the ring.

Opinion: I’m not sure I would call this a surprise as it was pretty clear that something was going to be changing in the near future. MVP has not been around in a long time and there was nothing to indicate that he was going to be sticking around. That seems to be what both sides want out of this and while that might be disappointing, it seems to be where things needs to go.
