That’s a lot. AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as there is now a new high level place for American wrestlers to present themselves. That is something that has been lacking from the industry for a long time now and it is something that offers quite the positive change. AEW is quite the success, and now we have an idea of just how much of a success it is.

AEW has ranked on Forbes’ list of most valuable combat sports promotions, where it placed third behind the UFC and WWE. The list values AEW at two billion dollars, with its top stars listed as Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. AEW regularly features three weekly television programs on TBS and TNT, with its next television contract expected to be announced this year.

Opinion: AEW has come a long way in its short history but there is something all the more impressive about seeing that sort of a number written down. The idea that a promotion is worth billions of dollars despite not being around that long is rather impressive and it makes me wonder just how far things can go for them with some more time. If nothing else, that probably makes for quite the morale boost, which is always nice to see.
