Could she be next? Last month at WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch became the queen of the WWE women’s divisions by winning both the Raw and SmackDown Live Women’s Titles in the biggest match in women’s wrestling history. That means she is going to need some competition, but there aren’t many challengers at her level. But what about someone from a different time?
At an event this weekend as part of the European tour, Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix posed with Lynch after a match. This prompted Lynch to give a mild warning to Phoenix via Twitter, saying not to get too close to the title. Phoenix responded, mentioning that it wasn’t an issue, though also slipping in that they are tied for the same number of title reigns. Phoenix returned to action at WrestleMania and has been working the European tour, though there is no word on if she will be back in the ring once the tour is over.

No worries @BeckyLynchWWE …I’m just glad that we are friends and not steaming over a silly little detail like being tied for number of title reigns. Cheers! https://t.co/ypXjz2ZQkT

This might need updating. Check out a retrospective of Phoenix’s in-ring career:
Opinion: That could be interesting and Phoenix getting one more title reign down the line isn’t out of the question. She is getting further and further back into the WWE fold so this isn’t the craziest thing in the world. Lynch isn’t exactly overflowing with competition at the moment so a Hall of Famer and someone with a strong resume of her own would make for a good challenger.
