Brock smash bank open. Earlier this month, Brock Lesnar made a surprising return to WWE, invading the Hell in a Cell cage and attacking both Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. The ending to the match set up a triple threat match between the three men at Crown Jewel in November, which wasn’t a big surprise. We do now know a few more details about Lesnar’s WWE deal.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar and his camp agreed to the new deal during Summerslam weekend. That would mean before Lesnar had signed with the UFC again, meaning they would not be allowed to interfere with his WWE deals. Lesnar is likely to work Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and then WrestleMania 35. He is rumored to be making seven figures for Crown Jewel alone. There is no word on whether or not he’ll appear on Monday Night Raw building up to the shows.
He looks UFC ready to me.
Opinion: Is any of this really surprising? Lesnar has been able to play the two organizations for a long time now and made a lot of money as a result. He’s figured out how to maximize his drawing abilities and with the reported seven figure payday for flying to Saudi Arabia, staying in what will likely be an incredible hotel, working a single match and coming home, can you blame him for any of this?
