Lucha Impact. We’re coming up on “Slammiversary 2017” and most of the card is already set, save for one fairly important match. As of the end of last week’s “Impact Wrestling”, there was no Tag Team Title match officially announced. That has since changed, thanks to a video on Impact’s website.
According to the video, Drago and Hijo de Fantasma (Lucha Underground’s King Cuerno) will be challenging LAX for the Tag Team Titles at Sunday’s pay per view. In addition to that, according to Impact’s website, they will only be one set of challengers though as two more teams, both from international organizations yet to be named.

Opinion: As is WAY too often the case with Impact Wrestling, wouldn’t it make a lot more sense to announce something like this in advance? They can’t edit this into one of the TV shows earlier on? LAX has barely been on TV since winning the GFW Tag Team Titles and now their opponents are announced on a website instead of TV. If you want these teams to draw like they’re supposed to, put them on TV where you might have a bigger audience.
Who do you think the other teams will be? Who do you want them to be? Let us know in the comments below.
