He’s back. There have been almost countless wrestlers throughout WWE’s history, though most of them do not make the biggest impact in the company. That can be done in a variety of ways and now one of the biggest stars the company has ever seen is being brought back in a special way.

According to Fightful Select, WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley has signed a new Legends deal with the company. This is a renewal of his previous Legends deal and it is not clear when Foley signed the new contract. Foley recently announced that he will not take part in a planned retirement match due to suffering a concussion. He still makes wrestling appearances though, including a scheduled appearance in November for GCW.
Foley is a legend for a reason. Check out his time in WWE:
Opinion: This doesn’t feel like the biggest surprise as Foley is one of the most successful stars WWE has ever had and keeping him in the fold is a good idea. I’m not sure I can imagine Foley ever getting back in the ring and that is probably for the best, but having him appear in a special situation or at an autograph session is not going to hurt anything. Foley is in this spot for a reason and it is great to see him staying with WWE for the time being.
