Stick Around For A Bit. WWE Legend Signs With WWE For Life (Basically).

You can’t say he doesn’t deserve it. There are legendary wrestlers and then there are really legendary wrestlers. In today’s wrestling world, there are very few who are on the level of the Undertaker, who has been around for nearly thirty years in WWE alone, and there is no reason to believe he won’t make it all the way to the milestone. Now, we have more proof that he is getting that far.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Undertaker has signed a new contract with WWE. While the exact length and value of the deal is not yet known, it is said to be long enough that it is virtually a lifetime contract. Undertaker has been a part of the company since November 1990 with his most recent match taking place at July’s Extreme Rules event. His next match with the company is not yet known.

Opinion: Is this any kind of a surprise? Undertaker is the definition of the WWE guy as he is never going to go anywhere else and I don’t think anyone else was ever going to believe that was the case. He is as iconic of a character as WWE has ever produced and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. Let him be there as long as he wants to be, and given his loyalty, you could easily say that WWE owes it to him.
