There’s a name. There are certain people who have been or were a part of wrestling for a very long time but their reputations might not be the most well received. That may or may not be fair or earned, but it is how things go no matter what. It can be a bit of a surprise when you see one of those people involved in wrestling in any way and that was the case again this week.

According to PWInsider.com, former TNA Wrestling President and owner Dixie Carter was backstage at this week’s Monday Night Raw. Carter was said to be visiting at the show, which was held at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Carter was not shown on screen or referenced in any way. She has worked with WWE before, appearing in some documentaries on various wrestlers.
Carter was a big deal in TNA Wrestling. Check out her time in the company:
Opinion: While I can’t imagine this is going to be leading to anything or matters in any significant way, it is still bizarre to see Carter having anything to do with WWE. Carter was such a big part of the only promotion to come anywhere near WWE between WCW and AEW and there is something so strange to see her here. It seems to be just a one off, but at least things seem to be ok between the two sides.
